After five years of fast growth and making a name for her agency in Phoenix, Carla Sandine sold Highway Twenty, moved to Seattle, and took a job leading marketing for a global nonprofit.
She will share her story of starting, running, and selling a profitable business in Phoenix, building a truly diverse team in a less-than-diverse industry, facing funding and systemic roadblocks on her way to becoming one of the just three percent of women business owners generating over $500k in annual revenue, leading a team to build the largest-ever online community in Phoenix political campaigns, and now transforming the brand of a 40 year old organization solving the world’s greatest health challenges.
