Seth has spent the past 20 years at the intersection of marketing, technology, and the law. After working in a family business, he developed an interest in technology and branding in law school. Seth started his legal career as a 17th street lawyer in Denver but transitioned to a boutique practice focused on emerging companies after going in-house as a Chief Business Development officer and general counsel for a startup. In 2015 he co-founded surefi, a branding and marketing agency that uses data to build local and regional brands. His work in the startup (and craft beer) space steadily increased demand for his services as a trademark lawyer, which motivated to merge his practice with Candice Owens. Seth is a frequent speaker at craft beer and tech events and represents clients all over the country helping them build their businesses and enhance the value of their brands.
