Tom Espinoza is the President and CEO of Raza Development Fund, Inc. (RDF), the largest Latino Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) in the U.S., with more than $350 million intotal assets under management. In 1999, Mr. Espinoza pioneered a faith base approach tocommunity development, establishing RDF’s Partnership of Hope (POH) and the Hope Fund. Under Mr. Espinoza’s leadership, RDF provides capital to low-income and Latino serving organizations nationwide. These organizations have received technical assistance and loans which have helped leverage nearly $3 billion in private capital for education, affordable housing and healthcare projects serving low-income families and individuals.
